Not only did I make it through the a-z challenge... I just took the plunge and self-published my first book.
There it is... my cover! Can you tell I'm excited?
Well I would love it if you would have a read. You can find it here.
I can't wait to hear what you think. It's been pretty nerve-wracking, thinking about sharing my work, so hopefully you enjoy it.
Yay for self-publishing! :)
That's very cool! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Laeli. :)
DeleteCongrats, Jessica. I'm going to be doing the same later this year. I'm just waiting for the cover. Unfortunately my favorite designer is booked 6 months in advance.
ReplyDeleteWow that's a long wait! Good for you though. The whole submission process gets so tiring, it's great that writers can take their career in their own hands, and I love that we can control what our covers look like! Send me a note when you do publish it, I'd love to take a look. :)
DeleteOh congratulations!! That's quite an achievement, and very inspiring! Sounds like a good story; compelling and unique - something to put in my tbr pile for sure :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your kind words cathandlingwriter. :)
DeleteI love love love the cover and will check it out when I have a break! Looking forward to reading it :-)
ReplyDeleteAwww thanks so much! I'm so glad you like it, I did it myself and was a bit worried about getting it just right.
DeleteWow! Wow! Wow!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your Book!
The cover is beautiful.
Looking forward to get my hands on it :)
Thank you so much! You're very sweet. :)
DeleteJoining in the happy dance over completing the A-Z Challenge. It was exactly what I needed, especially since I'd been so lax on my blog. After blogging almost daily for a month, a couple of posts per week should be no problem. ;-)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on self-publishing your first book! I love hot pink and polka dots. So your book cover automatically makes me smile.
I agree, the a-z challenge helped me realize it shouldn't feel so hard to blog once a week. :)
DeleteThanks. I'm glad my cover makes you smile. :)
Congratulations on your achievement! Like the cover. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Wendy. :)
DeleteYes I'm also liking the cover so you got one score there. Another score for bravery because it must be like you baby. I'll give it read:)Good Luck.
ReplyDeleteAww you're so sweet. Thank you Maggie. :)
DeleteI like your cover, Jessica, Congratulations, good luck with your book! I have my new novel The Fires of Waterland just published in January. It's in print and eBook formats, check it out! It was published by Redmund Productions (redmundpro.com) I self-published Morgidoo's Christmas Carol, a Christmas classic for all ages a couple of years ago, and Rocking Horse Productions is taking it to print this season. ":) We never know....
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! I'll have to look you up. :)
DeleteVery cool! I'm excited for you. It's my hope that I'll be able to publish, self or otherwise, someday. I'll try and find the time to read your work - congratulations on this huge accomplishment and on putting yourself out there!
ReplyDeleteBrandy from http://brandysbustlings.blogspot.ca/
Thank you so much Brandy. I fully recommend self-publishing, it's easier than one would think. :)
DeleteHow cool is that! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much John. :)
DeleteCongratulations with your book release! I stopped to congratulate you on completing the A to Z, and see that you have been busy. A lot of big things going on. :-) I wish you much success. :-)
